PAYMENT METHODS

1. Available Payment Method
The standard payment method currently offered by ALEK LTD is:
Cash on Delivery
The customer pays for the order when it is delivered by the courier or logistics provider.
Cash on delivery is available only where supported by the selected courier and delivery destination.
2. Order Confirmation
Before an order is confirmed, ALEK LTD will communicate or display:
The products ordered;
Quantities;
Product prices;
VAT where applicable;
Delivery charges collected by ALEK LTD;
The final amount payable;
The proposed delivery method;
Any applicable production period.
An automatic order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
The order is confirmed after product availability, final price, delivery and cash-on-delivery availability have been verified.
3. Paying the Courier
The customer must pay the full confirmed amount when the order is delivered.
The recipient should have the required amount available according to the payment options supported by the courier.
Unless expressly confirmed otherwise, ALEK LTD does not guarantee that the courier will accept card payment at the delivery address.
4. International Cash on Delivery
International cash on delivery is not available in every country.
Availability depends on:
The destination;
The selected courier;
Order value;
Product dimensions and weight;
Courier restrictions;
Customs and import requirements.
We will contact the customer before confirmation where international cash on delivery cannot be arranged.
An international order is not binding until the available delivery and payment arrangements have been accepted.
5. Wholesale and Custom Orders
Wholesale, distributor, private-label and custom-manufacturing orders may require separately agreed commercial terms.
Any payment terms different from cash on delivery are valid only when expressly confirmed in writing by ALEK LTD and the customer.
6. Prices and VAT
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or quotation.
For consumer purchases, the final amount payable, including VAT where applicable and any delivery charge collected by ALEK LTD, will be communicated before the order is confirmed.
Customers outside the European Union may also be charged import VAT, customs duties, brokerage charges or local taxes by authorities or service providers in the destination country.
These external charges are not collected by ALEK LTD unless expressly included in the written quotation.
7. Refused or Unclaimed Cash-on-Delivery Orders
Please do not place an order unless you intend to receive and pay for it.
Where an order is repeatedly refused or left unclaimed without a valid legal reason, ALEK LTD may:
Decline future cash-on-delivery orders from the same customer;
Request confirmation before accepting another order;
Seek reimbursement of reasonable additional delivery or return costs where legally permitted.
This does not restrict a consumer’s statutory rights.
8. Refunds for Cash-on-Delivery Orders
Cash-on-delivery refunds are not normally returned through the courier in cash.
Where a refund is due, ALEK LTD will ask the customer to agree to a fee-free refund method, normally bank transfer.
The customer must provide accurate account-holder and bank-account information.
